Medomak, Oceanside girls split Friday’s Busline action

Busline League middle school basketball action continued Friday, Jan. 6 across the Midcoast.

7th girls: Medomak 36, Oceanside 35

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 11-5, 17-15 and 27-26. 

Scoring for Medomak were Sienna Lee (eight points), Anna Reed (eight), Kyli Jones (four), Maggie Martin (four), Brianna Neal (four), Olivia Campbell (two), Aubrey Court (two), Kendall Wyman (two) and Jaya Dunbar (two). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Olivia Breen (27 points), Eva Ohane (two), Autumn Quinn (two), Stella Essen (two) and Abby Dennison (two). 

8th girls: Oceanside 43, Medomak 35

Oceanside maintained quarterly leads of 13-3, 21-16 and 33-28. 

Scoring for Medomak were Paige Gerlack (12 points), Rachel Barbour (seven), Brooke McNelly (two), Grace Havener (five), Molly Emerson (three) and Lilly Hills (six). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Charotte Quin (10 points), Grace Mackie (12), Abby Stackpole (10), Charlott Stevens (one) and Abby Reid (10).
