Thomaston to host new resident night Sept. 24
Thomaston residents who have moved to town since January 1, 2020 are invited to a special New Resident Night on Wednesday, September 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Lura Libby Room at the Thomaston Municipal Building (13 Valley Street).
The open-house style event will feature refreshments, door prizes, and an opportunity for new residents to connect with Thomaston’s community and resources.
Guests will be able to meet municipal leaders and staff, chat with members of the Select Board, and learn more about the services and amenities available in town.
The evening will also provide information on how Thomaston’s Town Meeting style of government works, ways to get involved with local boards and committees, and resources from a variety of town departments and community partners.
The event is free and open to all who have moved to Thomaston since January 1, 2020.
