Bartlett Woods Retirement Community is having a public Open House, Sunday, Aug. 24, from 2 - 4 p.m., at 20 Bartlett Drive (just off Talbot Avenue between Broadway and Old County Road) in Rockland. The event is free to the public, and will include refreshments and live music.

"An end-of-summer Open House feels just right to us, especially this, our 27th birthday month," said Kelly Osborn, Executive Director. "It is an auspicious year, with many achievements and exciting plans to celebrate. We hope to see new and long-time friends join us for a festive Sunday afternoon."

Staff and Board of Directors will be present to meet and greet visitors, provide information on current programs, and tour the 3-story apartment house. Weather permitting, the 1/5-mile loop around the grounds may be walked, with gardens and shade-covered patios for relaxing out-of-doors.

Visitor parking is available in unreserved spots, along the Bartlett driveway, and up the Stonewood Cottage road.
