Officer Jarrod Leonardi, of the Thomaston Police Department, has been promoted to the rank of Police Corporal, effective Monday, April 27, 2026.

"This promotion recognizes Officer Leonardi’s professionalism, dedication, commitment to excellence in law enforcement, and demonstrated ability to assume increased responsibility within the department," said the Town of Thomaston, in a news release,

As a Police Corporal, Officer Leonardi will serve as an entry-level supervisor within the department, providing leadership and operational oversight in the absence of a Sergeant. The position also includes responsibilities for guiding and supporting assigned police officers and civilian police personnel in the performance of their duties.

"Town officials and department leadership congratulate Corporal Leonardi on this achievement and thank him for his continued service and dedication to the Thomaston community," said the Town.
