THOMASTON — The Oceanside and Medomak eighth grade girls basketball teams met on the hardwood in Thomaston for a Busline League contest Monday, Jan. 6. 

Oceanside held quarterly advantages of 6-1 and 16-6 after the first two quarters, respectively, while Medomak possessed a 21-20 lead after the third quarter.

In the end, the Oceanside collected a 33-29 victory. 

Scoring for Oceanside were C. Lamb (four points), S. Vose (10), J. Barnard (two), S. Daggett (11), H. Erickson (two) and G. Webber (four). First names were not available. 

Scoring for Medomak were Kylie Blake (one point), Kaylee Kurr (five), Eliza Luce (eight), Sara Nelson (eight), Olivia Pelkley (two) and Haley Puchalski (five). 

The next game for Oceanside will be Thursday, Jan. 9 on the road against Great Salt Bay. 

The next game for Medomak will be Wednesday, Jan. 8 on the road against Camden-Rockport.
