Money talks to Susan Collins and she listens!
Thirty years of pulling in over $100,000 a year personally, and receiving millions from billionaire friends for her reelection campaigns, has made Susan forget the people of Maine.
While Troy was enacting legislation to help Mainers maintain a decent standard of living, Susan was learning how to play the reelection game.
First you give a few bucks here for a new pier, then go to your base and promise them a new fire engine. While they are expressing gratitude for the dollars you’ve provided, the $1.5 billion dollars over five years earmarked for Maine, you cut their health care and SNAP benefits, and vote to give $148.5 billion dollars to ICE from 2025 - 2027… with no restrictions!
That’s called hypocrisy, and that’s how she’s won the game in the past. Susan’s only concern has been getting reelected, time and time and time again.
But no more. Mainer’s have seen through that. Her guise won’t work any more. Times are too uncertain and too hard, and we need a senator who will stand up for our country, a senator who puts us and our needs first.
Troy Jackson has worked all his life for the common good of the people of Maine - fair wages and working conditions, reigning in prescription drug prices, free breakfast and lunches for all public school students, etc. When faced with a problem that touched his conscience and showed him that his position was bad for the people of Maine, he didn’t talk about being concerned, he did something about it.
It’s not about the money with Troy Jackson; it’s about getting things done for Maine!
