Medomak 7th girls basketball shoots past Boothbay

WALDOBORO — The Medomak Middle School seventh grade girls basketball team hosted Boothbay in a Busline League basketball contest Monday, Jan. 6. 

Medomak held quarterly leads of 11-6, 19-6 and 30-10 en route to a 35-17 victory. 

Scoring for Medomak were Lilly Christ (seven points, four rebounds), Kytana Williamson (four points, four rebounds, six assists, four steals, one block), Emma Haney (two points), Audrey Jackson (14 points, 19 rebounds, two assists, one steal, five blocks), Paige Jarvis (three points, six rebounds, two steals), Paige Mosher (two points, four rebounds, two steals) and Erica Waite (three points, three rebounds, three steals). Sadie Knight contributed five rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Scoring for Boothbay were Jordan Chamness (two points), Laura Champman (nine), Avery Barter (two) and Lizzie Pierce (four). 

The next game for Medomak will be its final home game of the regular season Friday, Jan. 10 against Camden-Rockport.
