'Lobster Roll' ride returns to Rockland, Oct. 18
The Bicycle Coalition of Maine (BCM) is bringing back "one of its most beloved cycling traditions" with the return of the Lobster Roll, a scenic coastal ride and community celebration in Rockland.
This reimagined event revives the spirit of BCM’s iconic Lobster Ride, offering a smaller, community-focused experience designed to reconnect riders and supporters from across Maine. The 2025 Lobster Roll marks the first step toward a full relaunch of the Lobster Ride in 2026.
“We heard you loud and clear, Midcoast Maine! The Lobster Ride left its mark on so many,” said Andrew Zarro, Executive Director of BCM. “This year’s Lobster Roll is a joyful reunion of our community and a reminder of why we ride: to connect, to celebrate Maine, and to make our roads safer for everyone.”
