$24-$26/hr. Are you a mission-driven educator focused on community wellness? Penobscot Bay Community Health Partnerships (PBCHP) is seeking a Prevention Educator to lead community education, outreach, and policy strategies that reduce tobacco and nicotine use—particularly among youth. The Prevention Educator is a key, full-time position within Penobscot Bay Community Health Partnerships (PBCHP), working to implement tobacco- and nicotine-prevention and treatment initiatives with support from the Director of Community Health Promotion. This full-time, grant-funded position is all about helping our community stay healthy by preventing youth tobacco and nicotine use through education, outreach, and positive policy change. You’ll also play a key part in connecting people with treatment options and reducing tobacco-related risks so our community can thrive. This is a chance to spark important conversations, inspire healthier choices, and help build a future where the next generation can thrive free from tobacco and nicotine. This hybrid position will require frequent driving throughout Knox County and occasional travel to other locations in the state to support our educational goals. This position is dependent on continued grant funding.
