Knox County Girl Scouts cookie selling season begins March 2026 with new 'Girl Scout Cookies Now!' program
Girl Scouts of Maine (GSME) is thrilled to introduce "Girl Scout Cookies Now!"—an innovative program designed to enhance the cookie-selling experience. This initiative allows Girl Scouts to sell cookies directly with inventory in hand, making sales immediate and satisfying for customers. Online sales will start on March 1st, followed by in-person and booth sales from March 15th to May 3rd, 2026.
Adding to the excitement, the 2026 cookie lineup will debut the Exploremores™—a rocky road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie brimming with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored crème. Alongside favorites like Thin Mints® and Caramel deLites®, the new cookie reflects the spirit of exploration at the heart of Girl Scouts.
The Girl Scouts Cookie Program® provides vital girl-led entrepreneurial skills that build courage, confidence, and character. Girl Scouts around the state allocate their earnings towards community causes important to them, travel opportunities, educational pursuits, and more. From young adventurers to aspiring leaders, this program is where goals and dreams begin. Knox County Girl Scouts have attended their 2026 cookie rally and they are ready to bring you your favorite cookies or welcome you to their cookie booths this cookie selling season.
At cookie booths throughout Maine, cookie fans can enjoy their favorite snack knowing their contributions support local Girl Scouts as they discover their leadership opportunities, forge friendships, and make the world a better place. Supporters can also purchase “cookie shares” that will be donated and distributed to food banks throughout Maine. Learn more and find cookies near you at www.girlscoutsofmaine.org/cookies.
