The nurse was assaulted when she tried to assist Robinson after he began falling into the chairs in the lobby.
He was transported to the jail and was released on the same day after he posted bail. He then returned to the emergency room at the hospital for a separate medical complaint of possible kidney stones, again became agitated, pulled out his intravenous line, causing bleeding, and threatened to stab two members of the clinical staff with the IV needle, according to the police affidavit.
Robinson tried to smear blood on a hospital worker and told him he was an intravenous drug user, said police.
Rockport Police were again called to the hospital on Aug. 28 and arrested Robinson for a second time.
