Joseph F. Joki, Jr., obituary
WARREN — Joseph F. Joki, Jr., a loving husband, father and grandfather, died, Saturday, November 1, 2025.
Born in Rockland, June 8, 1944, he was the son of Joseph, Sr. and Ruth Widdecombe Joki. He was educated locally and graduated from Rockland High School in 1962.
Following high school, Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his country with pride until his discharge in 1968.
After being twice widowed, Joseph married Dorna Craig on July 19, 2003. They enjoyed their time together, sharing a companionship that brought joy to both their lives.
Joe was an active member of the Rockland Lodge of Elks for over 54 years, serving as Past Exalted Ruler and on the Board of Trustees. He was deeply involved with the organization's youth programs, organizing and working countless shoot-a-thons, and dedicated himself to helping homeless veterans by building homes for them.
An avid sports fan, he never missed a high school basketball game and loved watching both the girls' and boys' teams play. When his children were young, he coached their little league teams, sharing his love of the game with the next generation.
Joe cherished camping with his family at Duck Puddle and in the Moosehead Lake Region, a tradition he looked forward to every year. He delighted in hosting friends and family there, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Above all, family was his number one priority, and his legacy of love, service, and dedication will live on in all who knew him.
Predeceased by his first wife, and the mother of his children, Sandra Joki in 1989; his second wife, Louise Joki in 2001; Joe is survived by his wife Dorna M. Joki of Warren; his son, Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Joki of Dover, New Hampshire; his daughter, Quinn Nash and her husband Jeremy of Kenduskeag; his step-daughter, who was like a daughter, Candace Schulte of Rockland; his grandchildren, Drake and Peyton Nash and Caleb Joki; as well as a daughter-in-law, Michelle Joki of Enfield, New Hampshire.
