Friends of the Rockport Public Library will hold a December Book Sale, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the library’s lower level. 

Shoppers can browse thousands of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, puzzles, vinyl records, and more. Most items are priced between $.50 and $5. For the ultimate bargain, visitors are invited to purchase a Friends of the Rockport Public Library membership for $20, which includes a new purple tote bag that can be filled, for no extra cost. The totes can be refilled at future 2026 book sales for $10. Ask for details at the sale.

All proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Rockport Library. Volunteers are needed to make the event a success. To sign up for a shift, stop by the library or call 207-236-3642.
