Three minor injuries at Buttermilk Lane, Thomaston Street collision
THOMASTON — Two adults and a child were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Thomaston Street and Buttermilk Lane, in Thomaston.
The impact of the crash resulted in one vehicle landing on its side in the westbound lane of Buttermilk Lane, at approximately 3:20 p.m., November 19, 2025.
Due to the number of patients, an ambulance each was requested from Thomaston, Rockland, and South Thomaston.
Thomaston Police responded and will be following up with the occupants of the vehicles. However, preliminary findings indicate that one vehicle had come to a stop at the Thomaston Street stop sign. The vehicle then proceeded into the traffic lane on Buttermilk and was struck by a westbound vehicle, according to Officer Chris Hansen.
For approximately 40 minutes, the section of road between Thomaston Street and the train tracks on the west. Traffic was redirected down Thomaston Street for westbound drivers and eastbound drivers turned around in the parking lot of Dicaperl Minerals.
Creek Hill towed both vehicles.
