A sure sign of the Holidays season, West Bay Rotary’s annual Christmas tree charity fundraiser starts this Friday! Tall ones, short ones, fat ones and skinny ones—this year’s crop of trees includes just the right size for your home.

“I have a really good feeling about this year’s trees,” says Tim Dresser, the club’s chief tree wrangler, “and I’m confident we’ll be able to satisfy the most discerning tree shoppers out there. Of course, don’t forget to pick up a fresh cut wreath for the front door, too. As always, 100% of the proceeds support local charities.”

Small trees (under 5 feet) are $35, Medium trees (5-8 feet) are $55, and Tall trees (over 8 feet) are $85. Wreaths (including ribbons) are $25 each.

Trees and wreaths are ready for sale beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving in the Maine Sport parking lot on Route One in Rockport. Hours are from 12:00 – 5:00 Thursdays and Fridays, then 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekends while supply lasts. (If you can't be there during those hours, you can always use the "honor box" to make your payment.)
