BATH — Jennifer Michelle Bailey, age 32, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Jennie was the beloved daughter of Lisa Bailey of Bath.

Jennie is survived by her brother, Christopher Bailey of Bath; her sister-by-choice, Kerry and Trevor Smith of Lewiston; her Nana, Violet Martin of Rockport; her aunts and uncles, Dawn Rasmussen of Union, Debbie & Terry Sheerer of Brunswick, Denise & Michael Jones of Rockport, Angela & Glenn Sabins of Union, and Maurice “Bud” & Sarah Martin of Starks, as well as many cousins, a special niece and nephew, friends, neighbors, and her beloved dog, Buzz.

Jennie attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School. She attended the University of Maine at Orono where she was President of the Multicultural Alliance and received a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Jennie worked in the community first with children and then in the medical field before joining the law firm Basham and Scott in 2024, working toward her dream of becoming a lawyer. Jennie enjoyed helping others and planned to make a difference for those she served. She volunteered on many Thanksgivings with her mother, Lisa, serving meals to those in need. Jennie also loved caring for and doting upon animals at every opportunity.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Bath Area Senior Center on the afternoon of November 3, 2024, from 2 - 4 p.m. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with family at a later date.
