I-295 in Yarmouth reduces to single lane overnight, Oct. 12

YARMOUTH — The Maine Department of Transportation will be reducing both northbound and southbound traffic on I-295 to a single lane between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., beginning Sunday, October 12, at 8 p.m. The lane reduction is necessary to install rumble strips along the highway.
The nightwork may be conducted a second evening if necessary. MaineDOT will provide updates on the project as needed.
The contractor on this project is CPM Constructors. The contract amount is $27,566,209.72.
