Evelyn (Blaisdell) Radivonyk, passed away on August 14, 2026, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center; she was 101 years old. She was the third daughter of the late Russell Blaisdell and Goldie (Lewis) Blaisdell of New Harbor. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, George S. Radivonyk.

She went to school in Boston and studied to be a laboratory technician. After finishing her studies, she worked at Mercy Hospital in Portland until she met her husband and moved with him to Massachusetts. She then worked for several private doctors until her retirement.

Avid golfers, Evelyn and George were members of the Wawenock Golf Club in Walpole, Maine, and regularly played at several courses in Massachusetts. During the cold winter months, they occasionally traveled to Myrtle Beach to play. Over the years, Evelyn won many tournaments in Maine and Massachusetts.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Virginia "Jean" (Blaisdell) Tarr of New Harbor, Charlene (Blaisdell) Stimpson of Tenants Harbor; and her niece Sally B. Field of Florida.

She leaves nieces Pamela (Tarr) Rice of New Harbor, Cathy Field of Rockland, and Nancy Frederick of Tenants Harbor; several great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held in the New Harbor Cemetery at a later date. Details will be announced as they are finalized.
