Cheeky Food Truck Park will host its Grand Opening Party on Wednesday, June 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 139 Searsport Avenue, in Belfast, Maine.

This free community event will feature eats from local food trucks, a ribbon-cutting with the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce, and festive fun, according to a news release.

The event marks the official launch of the food truck park, a new venture from local entrepreneur Kristine Wentworth, who reimagined the site of the former Wentworth Event Center following a devastating fire in 2023. Cheeky now stands as a tribute to resilience, creativity, and community collaboration.

Guests at the grand opening will enjoy offerings from some of Maine’s mobile kitchens:

● The Moody Dog – gourmet hot dogs with bold flavor

● Big Daddy’s Hot Box – hearty street food rolled in a wonton

● Nate & Ollie’s Rolled Ice Cream – made-to-order frozen treats with a twist

● Downtown Charcuterie – crafted boards and savory snacks

The Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the park’s official opening and recognize the entrepreneurial spirit behind the project. The event is open to the public and promises to be a welcoming gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, according to the release.
