Breanna Pinkham Bebb is a gem and worth your vote for Waldo County Commissioner
I’m writing to encourage all my District 1 neighbors to vote for Breanna Pinkham Bebb for Waldo County Commissioner.
I heard about Bre about 15 years ago, when she was the Executive Director of Our Town Belfast. Her name started coming up with regularity inside community organizations I was involved with that were seeking smart, capable, energetic board members. “Maybe we can get Bre? If she’s not too busy…” was a common sentiment.
Since then, I’ve been following Bre’s career in volunteer civic services and as a financial professional. As I was wrapping up my time as a citizen advisor for Maine Community Foundation’s Waldo County Fund Committee, Bre was jumping onto that team. As I was working with friends to co-found Waldo County Bounty, Bre was doing parallel work to make Waldo County Woodshed successful. She continuously showed up in un-glamorous spaces concerned with community care. She still does!
Earlier this year, Bre became my County Commissioner, through a gubernatorial appointment. This was exciting because I knew Bre would work toward financial and process transparency, while also generally applying her intellect and community-mindedness. She has not disappointed. I’m thrilled to have an opportunity to vote for her on November 3rd to continue this work.
I continue to be impressed with Bre’s ability to retain approachability, sense of humor, and empathy while executing strong critical thinking and exhibiting the toughness needed for public leadership. She’s a gem and very worthy of your vote.
