A Rockport dentist has donated $10,000 to Penobscot Community Health Care in support of PCHC’s Seaport Smiles Campaign.
Dr. Eric Pier, of Mount Pleasant Dental Wellness in West Rockport, presented the check to Lori Dwyer, president and CEO of Penobscot Community Health Care.
The campaign’s goal is to raise $1 million for the PCHC Belfast Dental Center, which anticipates operating as an 8-chair dental practice and is projected to provide critical care to more than 7,000 patients annually. In addition to routine care, the center will offer acute and walk-in dental services.
The center is scheduled to open in April of 2026.
