Oceanside 8th girls basketball shoots past Hope
HOPE — The Oceanside eighth grade girls basketball team challenged Hope on the hardwood in Hope on Monday, Dec. 2.
Oceanside held quarterly advantages of 15-13, 24-16 and 38-28 en route to a 53-28 victory.
Scoring for Oceanside were L. Lamb (15 points), S. Vose (12), J. Barnard (five), K. Johnson (two), S. Daggett (11), H. Erickson (six) and G. Webber (two). First names were not available.
Scoring for Hope were Kristen (12 points), Sierra (nine), Rose (six), Leah Snyder (two), Leah Jones (seven) and Thea (two). Last names were not available in most cases.
The next contest for Oceanside will be Monday, Dec. 9 against Great Salt Bay in Thomaston.
The next contest for Hope will be Monday, Dec. 9 against Appleton on the road.
