I am writing in support of Breanna Pinkham Bebb as County Commissioner for District 1, which includes Belfast, Belmont, Islesboro, Lincolnville, Northport, and Waldo.  She was appointed in February to serve out the late Betty Johnson’s term so she is already up to speed and working well with the other commissioners. 

She and her husband Buddy Bebb (of Islesboro) first lived in Belfast and then bought a home in Northport when their son Liam was an infant. Since then, she has been very active in their adopted community — she’s  served on the planning board, the select board (as member, vice chair and chair), on the Waldo County Budget Committee and was the inventive and driving force behind the Our Town Belfast initiative. I’ve known Bre for years and what impresses me most is her drive, her abundant energy, and her dedication to whatever she puts her mind to. She’s well-spoken, forthright and smart. Bre always does a good job. And she is a fundamentally decent person. That matters a lot to me these days.
