The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will continue its Spring Gardening Webinar Series: Building Food Security in Maine with “Produce Sharing Tables: An Approach to Garden-Grown Food Access” on Tuesday, April 7, from 6–7:15 p.m.

Join Viña Lindley, horticulture professional for UMaine Extension, and Mattie John Bamman, communications coordinator for Waldo County Bounty, to learn about Waldo County Bounty’s Give and Take program.

This program offers a simple, stigma-free way to share extra garden produce at community drop-off sites. Participants will learn how the program works, how new sites are chosen and how to start a Give and Take site in their own community.
