Our Winter Learn-to-Row program is a fun, friendly introduction to the sport. Over two or three classes, you’ll learn the basics of the rowing sequence, build fitness on the erg, and get a feel for what makes rowing such an incredible full-body workout and community experience — absolutely no experience required!
After 2–3 sessions, you’ll be ready to hit the water this spring and complete our on-the-water Learn-to-Row course at half the regular cost! This opportunity is open to anyone ages 12 and up who’s ready to try something new.
When you finish, you can join Megunticook Rowing for just $50 and gain access to our full lineup of coached Novice Programs — including Winter Training, technique sessions, and more!
Here’s What to Expect:

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00–7:30 a.m. or 7:30–9:00 a.m.

Wednesdays, 6:00–7:30 a.m. or 7:30–9:00 a.m.

Tuesday & Friday - 5:30-7pm
All sessions are held at the Pen Bay YMCA.
