Savani Latin Jazz Quartet performs at the Camden Opera House on Friday, June 12th at 7:30pm! 

Friday night's Jazz in June Camden headliner is the Savani Latin Jazz Quartet. Traditional rhythms of Cuba and South America are given flight with jazz arrangements that highlight the improvisatory prowess of the musicians. Elspeth Savani has had the great fortune of working closely with 3-time Latin Grammy winner Carlos Cascante, internationally renowned Cuban tres player Kiki Valera (of La Familia Valera Miranda) and Brazilian jazz master pianist, Jovino Santos Neto. Opening will be special guests the Edwards/Haines Duo, a musical collaboration between Portland, Maine-based jazz musicians Duane Edwards (bassist) and Evan Haines (guitarist).

Jazz in June Camden Maine, runs Friday to Sunday, June 12-14th.
