Animal tracking workshop at Weskeag Headlands Preserve in South Thomaston

Saturday, March 14, 2026 - 09:30 amJoin Georges River Land Trust (GRLT) and Maine Coast Heritage Trust (MCHT) for an animal tracking walk at Weskeag Headlands Preserve in South Thomaston on Saturday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m.
Kirk Gentalen, naturalist and Regional Stewardship for MCHT, will provide tips for identifying animal tracks, and give insight into what animals are busy doing in the woods this time of year.
This walk is free and open to everyone. Please visit georgesriver.org/events to register.
Directions: From the Keag Store in South Thomaston, take Route 73 west and turn right on Westbrook Street. Go 0.5 mile and turn right onto Hopkins Drive where you will find a small parking lot.
