"Join your fellow guitar players and experience the joy of playing songs in an informal, welcoming setting," said Bay Chamber Concerts & Music School, in a news release.

In this ongoing workshop, Music School faculty member Jeff Weinberger will lead a Saturday, Aug. 22, workshop in learning to play, sing, and improvise on simple, yet satisfying songs. The workshop will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Various genres will be included, and requests will be honored.

"Come learn something new and feel what it is like to be a community of music makers sharing the gift of song," said Bay Chamber.
