Liz Cutler, artist and founder of ArtWaves, will provide a felting workshop, Lisa Nakamura, of SETPoint, will instruct on setting personal boundaries, protecting yourself, and knowing your worth, and Yael Calhoun will lead Yoga for You movement and breathing exercises. A nature journaling workshop, the chance to hike and swim, and a potluck lunch will round out a day of communal healing and sister solidarity for Maine women domestic abuse survivors.
The three instructors and the owner of the retreat space in Brooksville are donating their services, allowing Finding Our Voices to remove financial barriers to participation with a fee of $25 for the all-day event. Space is limited.
