Mythic Heart Theatre to present 'A Feast For The Soul'
As the season of All Hallows’ Eve, All Saints’ Day, and All Souls’ Day approaches, Mythic Heart Theatre invites the public to gather for two opportunities for soulful exploration, Nov. 1 and 2.
"Step into a mystical world as we journey through the elements—Earth, Water, Fire, and Air—through an interactive art installation," said Kristi Williamson.
A Feast For The Soul is a partly immersive experience and partly a creative gathering that will blend theater, dance, visual art, music and poetry into a tapestry designed to nourish the spirit.
Performance artist Williamson and visual artist Kathryn Oliver combine their skills in dance, drama, music, art and visual art to create an interactive theater experience to awaken the senses and reinvigorate the imagination.
Mythic Heart Theatre performances connect to the natural rhythms of each of the four seasons. The use of sacred song, dance and poetic “ageless wisdom” teachings culminates in what we call, “Rituals of Remembrance.”
As such, Williamson and Oliver invite audiences to directly experience and participate in the unfolding of a mythical dream, dissolving the boundary between performer and audience member.
"The shared space comes alive with potential, awakening the heart, and calling us towards beauty, goodness and truth," they said.
'A Feast for the Soul' is a multidisciplinary arts performance created in collaboration with cellist Robin Lane. Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy libations, canapés and masquerade celebration.
