Middle School Book Club at Rockland Public Library continues into 2026.

The club meets on RSU-13 early release days: Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 1:30 p.m., as well as Wednesday, Feb. 4; Thursday, March 19; Thursday, April 2; Wednesday, May 13, and Wednesday, June 10.

Read, craft, and chat! For 4th - 8th grade students. 

Every RSU-13 early release day, the group will meet in the Board Room to discuss great books and eat snacks, according to RPL, in a news release. Join Miss Katie in exploring all kinds of fun books through the Maine Student Book Award reading list. (https://tinyurl.com/3y78drtc) 

Kids get to pick their own book from the list every month and book talk it to the group at the next meeting. 

Every March the group votes for its favorites and submits them to the state.
