'Maine to Memorials: A Mission of Honor' presentation at Quarry Hill
Event Date
Wednesday, May 06, 2026 - 01:00 pmQuarry Hill welcomes Matthew Mank, chairman of the board of directors of Honor Flight Maine, to the Anderson Inn on Wednesday, May 6, at 1 p.m.
Get an inside look at the mission behind Honor Flight Maine, part of a national network dedicated to honoring veterans by providing a free, unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials built in their honor—"a powerful tribute to their service and sacrifice," said a Quarry Hill news release.
This presentation will also allow time to ask how one might set up an Honor Flight trip for themselves or a loved one. All Maine Veterans who served between December 7, 1941 and May 8, 1975 are eligible to go on an Honor Flight.
Part of Quarry Hill’s ongoing awareness series designed for adults aged 50 and better, the program is free, but advance registration is required. To sign up, please call Quarry Hill at 301-6116 or email qhinfo@mainehealth.org.
