UMaine Extension offers online spring landscape and lawn care workshop

Wednesday, April 22, 2026 - 05:00 pm to 07:00 pmUniversity of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a virtual workshop on spring landscaping and lawn care on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 5 - 7 p.m. This session is eligible for two Maine Board of Pesticides Control recertification credits.
Spring Essentials for Landscape and Lawn Care is designed for individuals interested in improving landscape and lawn care practices for the upcoming season. Topics include spring landscape preparation, soil health, pest and weed management and integrated pest management strategies for turf. The presenter is Manjot Sidhu, assistant Extension professor of horticulture and ornamental horticulture specialist at the University of Maine.
The registration fee is $15. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. More information and registration are available on the program webpage.
