Film Club at Rockland Public Library meets in April

"It’s like a book club but with movies!" said RPL, in a news release.
Watch the selected film on your own and then join the group for a lively discussion each month. Plots, themes, characters, soundtracks, symbolism, cinematography, and more are all discussion options. From casual viewers to cinephiles, all levels of interest in film are welcome.
Participants can request the selected film through interlibrary loan or find it on various streaming services.
April’s discussion is centered on the 2002 film The Deserted Station.
A photographer and his young wife are stranded in a remote village after their car breaks down. The only adult inhabitant leaves with the photographer to find help, leaving the woman to teach the village children, whose parents are nowhere to be found.
