Music, spoken word performance at Blue Cafe celebrates new collection by Poet Dave Morrison

Dave Morrison. (Photo courtesy Dave Morrison)Poet Dave Morrison celebrates the release of his new collection Already Home (JukeBooks 2026) with a music/spoken word performance, April 22, at 7:30 p.m., in the Blue Cafe, on the 3rd floor of the Camden Opera House.
Admission is free and all are welcome; copies of the book will be offered for sale. Doors open at 7 p.m.
"Since his first collection, Sweet (JukeBooks 2006), he has been a regular fixture in the Maine literary community," said a news release.
His work has been featured on Writer’s Almanac, Take Heart, and Poems from Here, and at the Terry Plunkett Festival, the Camden Festival of Poetry and the WORD Literary Festival.
"Morrison is known for his unique presentation of poetry read over looped electric guitar," said the news release.
