Christopher Michael Gracie
September 4, 1973 - April 10, 2026
With profound love and sorrow, we share the passing of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully at home beside his beloved wife after an eight-year battle with chronic pancreatitis.
He shared nearly 32 years of marriage and 37 beautiful years together with his wife, Crissy, beginning their journey on September 10, 1994. Their life was filled with love, laughter, resilience, and countless cherished memories—weekend getaways, dancing, long drives filled with deep conversation, spontaneous road trips, and plenty of unforgettable shenanigans. Everything he did, he did with passion and intensity, always wearing his heart on his sleeve.
He was an incredibly proud and loving father to his daughters, Brittini and Sarah. Nothing brought him more joy than watching the women they became. He shared his passion for music with them, passing down not only his love for it but also the confidence to express themselves. He also took great pride in teaching them practical life skills that carried them from childhood into adulthood, always making sure they felt capable and supported.
His love only grew deeper with the arrival of his grandchildren—Josie, Jack, and Karmyn—who knew him affectionately as “Grumpy,” a name that suited him perfectly and was worn with pride and humor. He adored them beyond measure and treasured every moment spent together.
He was overjoyed that Brittini found Zach, someone he deeply respected and was grateful to see building a beautiful life alongside her. He also held immense appreciation for Sarah’s husband, Tyler, whom he considered a wonderful son-in-law. He was especially thankful for Tyler’s generosity and warmth in always welcoming him and Crissy into their home for extended visits filled with love and comfort.
He found deep meaning in family connections and held a special place in his heart for his in-laws, whom he loved beyond measure and thought the world of. He is also survived by two very special sets of aunts and uncles, Jeff and Becky Gracie, and Sylvia and Dennis Luce, with whom he shared close and meaningful relationships, often staying in touch and expressing his love.
A man of deep loyalty, he cherished his lifelong friendship of over 30 years with Paul and Elsie Mank—friends who stood by him through laughter, tears, and all of life’s wild moments.
He was incredibly proud of his sobriety, having made the life-changing decision to become sober in August of 2008, and remaining so for nearly 18 years. This achievement was one of his greatest personal victories and a testament to his strength, determination, and love for his family.
Despite the challenges of his illness, he remained grateful for the experiences he was able to have. He especially treasured a trip to Las Vegas last May, doing things he once feared would no longer be possible. He also held close the joy of spending this past Christmas in Maine, surrounded by his children, their spouses, his beloved grandchildren, and extended family—moments that meant everything to him.
He will be deeply missed not only by his family and friends but also by his loyal companions, his two Jack Russell/Beagle mixes, Jackie and Lassie, who rarely left his side and brought him comfort and companionship throughout.
He lived fully, loved fiercely, and left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his love, lessons, and spirit will live on in all who knew him.
He will be deeply, deeply missed.
