Join me in supporting Jordan Barnett-Parker as our new Lincolnville selectman

Mon, 11/30/2020 - 1:15pm

I am supporting Jordan Barnett-Parker for our Lincolnville selectmen in the December 15 election.

I chatted with a friend recently that folks complain that we don’t have any new and younger people running for positions in our town. Over the last decade I have seen retired selectmen run on the platform that we need someone with experience.

Though I understand the reasoning that experience counts, Jordan has been an active member of both the budget and broadband committee. In many ways he has ‘done his homework’ by understanding the fiscal side of this town and being involved in one of the most pressing issues for our community and many communities in our country: having affordable access to broadband. In our pandemic society it is a neccessity now.

Jordan also wants to look into reviewing and working on the comprehensive plan for our town. Here is his interview on why he is running: https://www.penbaypilot.com/article/issues- lincolnville-select-board-candidate-jordan-barnett-parker/141008?source=rs

Please join me in supporting Jordan as our new selectman in the town of Lincolnville. You can also vote by visiting the Lincolnville town office and vote by absentee ballot before December 15th.
