Seven votes determine winner of Lincolnville select board in special election
LINCOLNVILLE — A special election for an open seat on the Lincolnville Select Board was held Tuesday, Dec. 15, and by seven votes, Jordan Barnett-Parker won the race.
The seat opened in mid-September when Selectman David Barrows passed in a tragic accident.
Jordan Barnett-Parker and Jason Trundy vied for the open seat on the board.
Barnett-Parker is a Lincolnville business owner, has coached local sports, serves as a mentor to students apprenticing in his metalsmithing studio, and currently a member of the Lincolnville Budget Committee.
Trundy is presently Chief Deputy at the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, a board member for the Belfast Rotary club and Maine Youth Alliance (Game Loft & IKME), and former Lincolnville selectman.
