Vote Jordan Barnett-Parker for Lincolnville Select Board
The Lincolnville special election for the vacancy on the Select Board is December 15. I am supporting Jordan Barnett-Parker.
Having recently served on the Lincolnville Broadband Committee with Jordan, I have seen first-hand his passion for our community. Jordan is also active as a member of the Lincolnville Budget Committee and has shown his fiscal conservancy by carefully considering expenses. My husband and I have been property owners in Lincolnville since 2010; members of our family have been residents of the midcoast since the early 70's and property owners since the 1950's. We are invested in our town and are supporting Jordan because he will consider the best interests of the town while being fiscally responsible.
Besides actively participating on the issue of bringing affordable high speed internet to every Lincolnville resident, Jordan is looking to re-establish a committee to oversee and update the town's comprehensive plan which dates back to 2006. I am sure you will agree with me and Jordan that we must protect our town from uncontrolled growth and the challenges that have arisen as more and more people make Lincolnville their home.
Here is an interview with Jordan that provides many details on why he is running for selectman: https://www.penbaypilot.com/article/issues-lincolnville-select-board-candidate-jordan-barnett-parker/141008
Because I currently serve on two regular Lincolnville committees, Lakes and Ponds and the Recreation Commission and am also a member of the temporary Broadband Committee, I feel that I know what is needed to keep Lincolnville growing and thriving as the perfect place for us to call home.
Please join me in voting for Jordan Barnett-Parker as our new Lincolnville selectman. Absentee ballots are available at the town office now or you can vote on election day December 15 at the Lincolnville Central School from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
