Islesboro teacher accepted into art fellowship program

ISLESBORO — Art Teacher Casey Everett has been accepted and awarded full scholarship into the Maine College of Art’s Art Teacher Fellowship Program, according to Islesboro Central School (ICS), in a news release.
In June, she will attend a week-long intensive studio experience with a concentration in drawing and mixed media.
Everett will join 60-70 other art teachers from around the country working in the studio, attending lectures, and exploring Portland.
