House District 38 Deserves Progressive Representation
Cayla Miller is running to represent the towns of Brooks, Frankfort, Jackson, Knox, Monroe, Swanville, Thorndike, Unity, and Waldo in the Maine House. I know that she will advocate strongly for a more affordable way of life for all Mainers. I am in awe of how much she gives to her community. She certainly deserves your support at the ballot box!
Cayla is a mother of three who works three jobs to keep food on the table for her family in Swanville. You may know her from her work at the UU Church in Belfast, or you may know her husband, David, who delivers the mail. Cayla will support legislation that will make it possible for everyone to find a good-paying union job and secure housing, even in the more rural parts of Waldo County.
Cayla knows first-hand how difficult it can be to find reliable childcare. Who better to make decisions about public education and fight for affordable childcare than a loving parent with children of her own? Cayla spoke up and organized her community to keep the doors of the rural Nickerson School open. Time and again, she has proven herself to be a trustworthy and caring neighbor.
I am running for the Maine House to represent Belfast, Belmont, and Northport, and I could sure use a colleague like Cayla by my side. Waldo County—especially House District 38—deserves new, progressive representation in Augusta. Be sure to vote for Cayla Miller in the primary on June 9!
