Gubernatorial Candidate Shenna Bellows to speak at Knox County Democratic Committee meeting
The Knox County Democratic Committee (KCDC) will host Shenna Bellows, candidate for Governor of Maine, Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 6 p.m., held in the Community Room, Rockland Public Library, 80 Union Street, in Rockland.
Bellows currently serves as Maine’s Secretary of State. Her appearance at the KCDC meeting will offer attendees the opportunity to hear directly from the candidate about her vision for Maine’s future and the issues that matter most to local residents. Attendees are requested to go prepared with questions about issues they’re concerned about in Maine.
“We’re honored to host Shenna Bellows as she shares her goals for Maine and engages in meaningful dialogue with our members and community,” said Greg Marley, KCDC Chair, in a news release. “This is a great opportunity for voters to learn more about her leadership and priorities.”
The event is free and open to the public. Following the session with Bellows, KCDC will hold its monthly business meeting, which is open to all Knox County Democrats and unenrolled progressives.
Bellows’ appearance on September 9 follows that of another candidate for governor, former State Senate President Troy Jackson, on August 12. Additional gubernatorial candidates scheduled to speak at KCDC events are Hannah Pingree (October 14) and Angus King III (November 11).
