The Waldo County Democratic Committee will hold a Democratic Candidates for Governor Forum September 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mount View High School, 577 Mount View Road, in Thorndike. The venue was changed from its former Searsmont location in order to accommodate seating and parking for a high level of interest.

The public is invited to meet Democratic candidates for governor confirmed to attend. They include Angus King III, Hannah Pingree, Shenna Bellows, and Troy Jackson, who are to participate in a lively discussion moderated by Maine journalist Murray Carpenter.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
