Dance at St. Thomas to benefit Camden food pantry

Saturday, February 28, 2026 - 07:30 pm to 10:00 pm"Boogie the night away…at a church!" said a St. Thomas news release. "Saturday, Feb. 28, from 7:30 to 10 p.m., the fun-loving folks at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut St., in Camden, will host a chem-free dance."
Proceeds will benefit the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry.
The eclectic playlist spans four decades of alternative music, including tracks from Elvis Costello, The Pretenders, The Cure, The Smiths, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Clash, Less than Jake, Vampire Weekend and recent alternative bands.
The dance will take place inside St. Thomas’ parish hall, which has ample room for cutting a groove, according to the church.
Admission is $5 dollars; 12 and under are free. Refreshments will be available.
"No partners needed," said St. Thomas. "No judgement given! Be who you are, with others like yourself, and dance the winter blues away for a good cause."
The Camden Area Christian Food Pantry is located at 128 Mt. Battie Street in Camden. All beliefs, ethnicities, orientations and abilities are welcome.
