Tyler Ryan EllsworthBELFAST — Tyler Ryan Ellsworth, 27, of Belfast, passed away on May 7, 2026.

Tyler was an old soul who would fit in and make friends anywhere. As a young man growing up in Florida, he developed a passion for surfing and skateboarding, for which he was sponsored by Naza Roots Surf Shop in Ormond Beach, Florida. Later in his young life his family moved back to Midcoast Maine. Though Tyler had many passions like history, old coins, bigfoot, and the wilderness, he loved his job as a sternman on a lobster boat above them all. He would spend hours telling you all about it.
Tyler will be missed by his father, Jason Ellsworth; his beloved stepmother, Kristol Bean; his grandparents, Martin and Susan Young and Dolores Bonin; his uncles, Travis Ellsworth, Ben Harvey and Steve Harvey; his wife, Katelin Ellsworth; children Lani, Lily, Easton, and Anthony Ellsworth; his sisters, Aliah Frost and Nina Harvey; and in-laws, Leon and Lisa Juskiewicz.
A service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2 p.m., at 850 Atlantic Highway, Northport, Maine, for anyone who would like to celebrate Tyler's life with his family. NO DRAGONFLIES, please.
