Thanks again to everyone who purchased tickets this year.
Thanks, too, to the many West Bay Rotary members and volunteers who helped ensure that those rascally ducks were scooped up and tucked away safely for next year.
And, finally, a special thank you to this year's sponsors: Camden National Bank, Vanderbilt Beach Resort, Edward Jones—Ken Gardner, along with Allen Insurance and Financial, First National Bank, North Atlantic Painting & Builders, Rockport Building Partners, Quirk Auto Group, New Leaf Construction, Bay View Collection, Adventure Advertising, Bangor Savings Bank, Barren Distillery + Restaurant, and Sandy Cox—New England Real Estate.
Net proceeds for this annual fundraiser go toward West Bay Rotary's grants program in support of local and international charitable causes as well as its scholarship program.
Lucky Duck and pal Plucky Duck were on hand to oversee today's race once they said "hello" incoming West Bay Rotary President Deb Hitchings.
