The newly formed Camden Light Opera will be auditioning for "1776" on June 15 and 17, at 7 p.m., at John Street Methodist Church, in Camden. Performances scheduled for Sept. 25, 26, 27, and Oct. 2, 3, 4 at the Camden Opera House.

The production is currently seeking a stage manager (w/ stipend). Open to cast and crew to come and learn more or audition. All are welcome.

John Bielenberg will be designing the set. Ruth Gelsinger will be assisting with music. A live orchestra will accompany. Directed by Shannon Elliott.

"This production is not often done around these parts and it's a great opportunity to bring friends and fans alike to see this tremendously funny and historic musical for a very historic occasion," said a news release.
