Go2Science at Rockport library: Paleo Problem Solving
On Saturday, Oct. 4, at 10:30 a.m., the Rockport Public Library will host Go2Science for a youth-oriented, interactive S.T.E.M. event entitled, “Paleo Problem Solving.”
The Go2Science scientists will lead participants on a paleontology hunt where students will study and compare “mystery fossils” with a collection of real bone specimens, casts, and models. The presenters will also discuss how fossils are formed and how paleontologists study them. In addition to the fossil hunt, there will be a big surprise for all of the student paleontologists, which promises to be “T-rexcellent!”
This presentation is free and open to the public. Space is limited to 30 students. Call the Rockport Public Library, 207-236-3642, to register your child.
