Every RSU-13 early release day, the Middle School Book Club will be meeting in the Board Room at the Rockland Public Library to discuss great book and eat snacks. This club is for 4th - 8th grade students.

The first session will be Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Join Miss Katie in exploring all kinds of fun books through the Maine Student Book Award reading list.

Kids get to pick their own book from the list every month and book talk it to group at the next meeting.

"Every March, we get to vote on our favorites and submit them to the state," said the library.
