Fiber arts show at Andrew Robinson Homestead

Ongoing demonstrations across a wide range of fiber arts will be held Aug. 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., at the Andrew Robinson Homestead, 945 River Road, St. George. Demonstrations include traditional rug hooking, contemporary weaving, hand quilting, machine quilting, needle felting, and knitting.
For younger visitors, children’s activities will include a Make-it, Take-it craft table suitable for all ages, as well as a fiber-themed artifact scavenger hunt. Edible treats will also be available throughout the event.
The Homestead and barn will be open for tours.
Admission is free, and donations are appreciated.
The Homestead is owned by the Historical Society and is maintained entirely through the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of community support, accordin gto the St. George Historical Society, in a news release.
